Formed in the early 1980s, Spring Valley has seen incredible growth in the past decades. It's part of the larger Las Vegas Township, which makes it a great retreat from Sin City. The city is home to Las Vegas' Chinatown.
Hot N Juicy Crawfish
4810 Spring Mountain Rd Ste C & D
Las Vegas, NV 89102
Hot N Juicy is the seafood home of Spring Valley. While their speciality is crawfish, their oysters are honestly the best thing on the menu. They're served over ice with lemon slices. Another good choice here is the Shrimp in a Bag with their signature cajun sauce. If the fact that they serve most of their dishes in a bag is any indication, the ambiance here is very informal. So be ready to make a mess, and definitely leave the nice clothes at home.
5030 Spring Mountain Rd
Las Vegas, NV 89146
Head to Raku if you're looking for the best Japanese food in Spring Valley. While they do serve sushi, it's far from their speciality. The crowd favorite here is their foie gras dishes. The grilled foie gras skewer served with the house soy sauce and black garlic melts in your mouth. The same goes for the foie gras custard over egg pudding. Much like the food, the ambiance here is definitely classy. Everything from the sushi bar to the bathrooms screams luxury.
Nora's Italian Cuisine
6020 W Flamingo Rd Ste 10
Las Vegas, NV 89103
A Spring Valley staple since the early 90s, Nora's Italian is where you go when you're looking for great Italian food in Spring Valley. The shrimp scampi is perfectly seasoned, but be sure to order it al dente. It makes for a perfect complement to the moist and tender shrimp. If one thing's for sure, it's that Nora's knows how to cook up an excellent veal. Their garlic bread is equally juicy and tender. Nora's is best on the weekends as they host live music acts.
Khoury's Mediterranean Restaurant
6115 S Fort Apache Rd Ste 100
Las Vegas, NV 89148
First off, the stuffed grape leaves are what makes this place shine, especially during happy hour. While most places drench their grape leaves in lemon juice, Khoury's knows the perfect amount. Another thing they excel at is their shawarma plates. The lamb shawarma is just a tad bit sour which works perfectly with their hummus. Of course, no Mediterranean restaurant is complete without gyros, and Khoury's cooks up a mean one at that. Their happy hour is 3-6pm, so be sure to show up around that time.
6960 S Rainbow Blvd
Las Vegas, NV 89118
Only open from 6am-3pm, Egg Works seriously specializes in breakfast food. Nearly everything is served either with or over eggs. The Chili Relleno Omelette is breath taking, and the sour cream on top is what sets it off. Most of their menu has a Mexican influence, like their breakfast burrito. Another thing Egg Works knows how to make is potatoes. They're so good that you won't even need salt or ketchup.
Roma Deli & Restaurant
5755 Spring Mountain Rd
Las Vegas, NV 89146
There's no better place in Spring Valley than Roma's for a gourmet sandwich. One step into this place and you're instantly greeted by the smell of their delicious bread. While the sandwiches are amazing, especially with their crusty bread, the pasta dishes and salads are just as great. Best of all, you can buy their lunch meat or pasta sides and take them home, since Roma's is a deli at heart. But don't let that dissuade you, they have ample seating and a very polite waitstaff.
