North Las Vegas Party Bus Destinations

Located just north of Las Vegas's Arts District, North Las Vegas offers some of the same attractions but in a calmer, quieter environment. North Las Vegas poses a great opportunity to experience some of the best Vegas has to offer without breaking your wallet staying at an extravagant Las Vegas hotel or eating at an overpriced wannabe five-star restaurant.

Ellaem's Soul Food

Address:
775 W Craig Rd Ste 146
North Las Vegas, NV 89032
Phone:

Ellaem's is unequivocally the best soul food in the entire Las Vegas area. If you like seafood, this is the place for you. Nearly half of their menu comes from the water. The fried and breaded catfish is sure to make your mouth water, and it comes with your choice of three delicious sides. Options include standard soul food fare: collard greens, mac and cheese, all kinds of potatoes, and a handful of other choices. While a bit pricier, their chitterlings with "Granny's Special Seasoning" is another crowd favorite.

Old School Pizzeria

Before getting too ahead ourselves, let's clarify something here: The Regina Margherita pizza is out of this world. It's closer to a Chicago style pizza than a New York style pizza, and it comes with chunks of mozzarella as a topping, along with torn basil and cherry tomatoes. Another stellar menu choice is the grilled Rosemary lemonade served in a mason jar. Seriously, don't think twice, just order it. The ambiance here is great too, clean, cozy and at a decent volume level. They don't serve alcohol, so expect a family-friendly atmosphere at the Old School Pizzeria.

Sushi Tachi

North Las Vegas, NV 89084
Phone:

Specializing in all you can eat sushi, Sushi Tachi will seriously surprise you with the quality and presentation of their food. Granted, it's a rare combination, but the lemon salmon rolls are eye opening. The lemon is a perfect mix with the salmon, and the avocado on the inside is what makes the roll. The atmosphere is great too. It's a pretty sportsy joint (there's usually always a game on the TVs), but the servers and waitstaff are fast and incredibly helpful if you are unsure of what to order.

Waverly's Steak House

If you thought you were hungry before you came in, just wait till you get blasted with the scent of fried steak and ribs once you open the door. While the steaks are amazing, their lamb chops are what makes Waverley's shine. They're perfectly seasoned with mint sauce and so tender they practically slide off the bone. The sauces here are great. The truffle sauce on the ribeye steaks is so good that you'll be looking over your shoulders to see if anybody'd spot you licking the plate clean.

Rocco's New York Pizza

Rocco's New York Pizza
Address:
6885 N Aliante Pkwy
North Las Vegas, NV 89084
Phone:

For another pizza option in North Las Vegas, Rocco's Pizzeria specializes in New York slices. Whereas Old School Pizzeria offers some of the most unique pizza fare in Las Vegas, Rocco's speciality is filling hungry stomachs. With less than $10 you can get their all-you-can-eat cheese pizza and salad special. And for really hungry stomachs, the Everything Pizza comes with all of their super fresh vegetables and topping. Their desserts are great too: The rainbow cookies are something totally out of the ordinary, and the Italian ice cream, while somewhat standard, is the perfect way to finish of a great New York style meal.

Viva Zapatas

Viva Zapatas
Address:
3826 E Craig Rd
North Las Vegas, NV 89030
Phone:
(702) 643-8888
If anywhere in North Las Vegas knows how to do shrimp, it's Viva Zapatas. Be it their shrimp fajitas served in a cast-iron pan or their Camarones Borrachos (huge shrimp sautéed in olive oil, tequila and lemon juice), the shrimp alone makes gives this place five stars in my book. Being a truly authentic Mexican restaurant, their menu is mostly in Spanish, but their exceptional waitstaff will be happy to help you along the way to your decision. For a final tip, although their complementary chips and salsa are incredibly tasty, be careful you don't eat to much — trust me, it's very easy to do.
