Empire Distributing is the top place to go for grocery shopping when you're in Empire. Commissary is a restaurant that doesn't have a huge selection, but what it does have is always fresh. The buffet is a new addition, and we think it completes the Nevada motif. The salad bar is consistently stocked with options for you to enjoy, and the improvements that have been made in the past few years are really impressive. The enthusiastic wait staff will certainly be happy to serve you today, and tomorrow.

We love that you get to enjoy alcoholic snow cones here, and the fact that they offer wood fired pizza right in the middle of a barren desert. When you're in Black Rock City looking for some sustenanace that goes above and beyond what you're expecting, try this out.

Soup Flavored Blankets might sound like a crazy spot to eat, but trust us when we say that this destination for soup is comforting to say the least. The staff isn't generally friendly, but where else can you get soup in the middle of the desert? It's almost worth it, but that's completely up to you. The employees here are generally dressed in Native American costumes. Want to eat hot soup in the desert?
